The challenge
The platform needed to bring teaching, learning, course management, assignments, progress tracking, and educational resources together without making the experience feel complex or overwhelming.
The key challenge was designing an experience that worked for two distinct user groups with different goals. Students needed a clear and motivating environment to access lessons, complete assignments, track their progress, and stay organized, while teachers needed powerful tools to manage courses, students, content, assessments, and overall classroom activity.
The product therefore required a flexible information architecture and role-based experience that could remain intuitive for students while providing teachers with the functionality needed to manage their learning environment efficiently.

Project Goals
Design a scalable LMS experience for both students and teachers
Create role-specific dashboards tailored to different user needs
Simplify course, lesson, assignment, and resource management
Make student progress and learning activity easy to understand
Improve discoverability of key actions and educational content
Establish a consistent and scalable design system

The Solution
The final StudyMind LMS combines a structured learning experience with powerful management tools inside one cohesive web application.
The student experience is centered around learning progress and easy access to educational content. Students can quickly see their courses, continue lessons, manage assignments, and understand their overall progress without navigating through unnecessary complexity.
The teacher experience provides a more operational workspace where educators can manage courses, organize learning materials, interact with students, review activities, and monitor progress.
Role-based dashboards ensure that each user sees the information and actions most relevant to them, while a shared design system maintains visual and interaction consistency throughout the platform.
